The Radiation Research Society’s Annual Meeting is less than three weeks away!
Will you be there?
The 64th Annual meeting entitled, Bringing Science to The City That Works, is composed of speakers, review sessions and symposiums on various topics within the radiation field (eg. radiation and immunotherapy, cancer risk among survivors of the atomic bomb, radiation carcinogenisis and others.) See the full list of topics.
Come and see us!
The International Journal of Radiation Biology / Taylor & Francis will have a booth at the meeting and we hope that you will stop by to say hello. We will be handing out copies of our special issue, The History Symposium: The Half-Life of Radiation Research.
We are excited to continue to be part of this annual meeting and to be in “The Second City”. If you’ve never been to Chicago, be sure to visit Millennium Park (home of “the bean”), take an architectural boat tour (it’s really worth it!), and enjoy the variety of great restaurants they have to offer.
Don’t forget to get a slice of the famous Chicago style deep dish pizza. For attendees that need their pizza fix and those who have yet to try it, here are the closest locations within walking distance of the Hilton Chicago.
Art of Pizza on State Street – 5 min walk
Gino’s East South Loop – 10 min wall
Giordano’s South Loop – 10 min walk
Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria South Loop – 4 min walk
See you at the meeting and let us know who you think makes the best pie!
